Here at WCTC, we deliver our services through the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF), a data-driven, evidence-based prevention model developed by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The SPF requires States and communities to systematically:

  • Assess their prevention needs based on epidemiological data.

  • Build their prevention capacity.

  • Develop a strategic plan.

  • Implement effective community prevention programs, policies, and practices, and

  • Evaluate their efforts for outcomes.

WCTC serves the following towns: Barkhamsted, Beacon Falls, Bethel, Bethlehem, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Canaan, Cheshire, Colebrook, Cornwall, Danbury, Goshen, Hartland, Harwinton, Kent, Litchfield, Middlebury, Morris, Naugatuck, New Fairfield, New Hartford, New Milford,  Newtown, Norfolk, North Canaan, Oxford, Prospect, Redding, Ridgefield, Roxbury, Salisbury, Sharon, Sherman, Southbury, Thomaston, Torrington, Warren, Washington, Waterbury, Watertown, Winchester, Winsted, Wolcott, Woodbury.
