CATCH My Breath™ is an evidence-based youth e-cigarette and vaping prevention program specific to grades 5-12
The Stanford University Tobacco Prevention Toolkit is a theory-based and evidence-informed resource created by educators and researchers aimed at preventing middle and high school student use of tobacco and nicotine products.
Intervention for Nicotine Dependence: Education, Prevention, Tobacco and Health (INDEPTH), sponsored by the American Lung Association, is an alternative to suspension or citation that helps schools and communities address teen vaping in a more supportive way.

Vaping: Know the Truth is a youth vaping prevention curriculum designed to educate students about the health dangers of e-cigarette use. This free digital learning experience was developed by Truth Initiative, Kaiser Permanente and the National Heart Association. It is made available to schools by social impact education innovator, EVERFI.
Resources for Parents
The Vape Talk is a guide from the American Lung Association that empowers parents to have important conversations about vaping with their children.
Parents Against Vaping E-Cigarettes (PAVe) is a national advocacy and education organization powered by volunteers. They offer information and resources to help adults understand the causes and extent of the youth vaping epidemic, health risks of vaping, and how to recognize the signs and offer support to their own children.
Cessation Support
EX Program, offered by Truth Initiative, provides free, 24/7 support through daily text messages full of tips and advice, a resource library with expert guidance, and access to an active community of quitters. Visit truthinitiative.org/exprogram to get started.
Freedom From Smoking, offered by the American Lung Association, is available in a variety of formats and includes a comprehensive variety of evidence-based, proven-effective cessation techniques. The program can help you quit all tobacco products, including e-cigarettes and vaping devices.
Get Involved!
Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, in partnership with the CVS Health Foundation, is empowering young people to be the first tobacco-free generation through their comprehensive youth advocacy training program. Parents Against Vaping E-Cigarettes (PAVe) is a grassroots community of passionate parents and concerned individuals committed to protecting children from the dangers of vaping and other flavored tobacco use. PAVe educates parents and communities and empowers them to take a stand by teaching them to advocate for local, state, and federal legislation to end sales of flavored nicotine products.
